As a kid, I was intrigued by the adventures of Phileas Fogg in the Jules Verne novel Around the world in 80 days. Now, I have embarked on my own adventure, starting on 5 June 2016, on a round the world trip for 180 days. With a bit more time and being less of a race, I will use Phileas Fogg’s route as an inspiration, but taking my own detours around the world, visiting areas that I haven’t been before, and revisiting cities that I have previously enjoyed. Of course, I’m starting and ending in NZ so the route will be different anyway!
I’ve got my top hat and ready to go!
My adventures are being planned as I go, so the later parts of the trip (Europe and Asia) are still flexible. Do you have any suggestions for me?
